Profile
Allan Holdsworth (born 6 August 1946, died 16 April 2017) was an English guitarist and composer best known for his work in jazz fusion. He recorded with a number of bands throughout the 70s (including Tempest, Soft Machine, Tony Williams' Lifetime, Gong, Bruford, and U.K.), and his first solo album was released in 1976. His solo career started in earnest in the 80s, and he contributed guest parts to many artists' work. His legato style and innovative technique won him many awards, and he can safely be called one of the most influential guitarists of the 20th Century.

Scott Walker RIP – Noel Scott Engel, better known as Scott Walker, was one of the most intriguing and enigmatic musical figures in the second half of the 20th Century. His strange career started with The Walker Brothers, an American pop group that featured no one named Walker and no brothers. After moving to England in 1965, they had a series of hit singles. Scott's solo work started with Scott in 1967. Starting in the 80s, his work took an increasingly avant-garde turn. » Read more
