William Kopecky is an American bassist (born in Racine, Wisconsin, 17 November 1969). In the mid 90s he worked with a band called Smashpalace. Then together with brothers Joe (guitar) and Paul (drums), he was in a trio called Kopecky. The three recorded together from 1996 until Paul's 2009 death. William is active in a number of other projects, including Yeti Rain and Far Corner.

Harold Budd RIP – Harold Budd, one of pre-eminent American composers of avant-garde and minimalism, has died of complications from the coronavirus.
