Gregory Stuart Lake (born November 10, 1947 in Dorset, England — died 7 December 2016) was an English bass player and vocalist who got his start with the first iteration of King Crimson on the album In the Court of the Crimson King, and after leaving the group later became a founding member of Emerson, Lake, and Palmer.
