Roxy Music
Country
England
Profile
Roxy Music was the brainchild of singer Bryan Ferry and its earliest incarnation consisted of Bryan Ferry (vocals, keyboards), Andy Mackay (sax, oboe), Graham Simpson (bass), Roger Bunn (guitar), Dexter Lloyd (drums) and Brian Eno (tapes, electronics). The addition of Phil Manzanera on guitar completed the most famous version of the band, which (after Eno's departure) endured for many years as Ferry, Mackay, and Manzanera with varying other personnel. Their music ranged from experimental art-rock to dance music and softer pop styles.
