Best known as the singer, violinist, and leader of It's a Beautiful Day, he previously a member of The Orkustra, Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks, and has played on recordings with Rod Taylor, Tracy Chapman, and Papa John Creach, as well as having several solo recordings to his credit. Three albums released between 2003 and 2005 by the David LaFlamme Band have since been re-released as It's a Beautiful Day.
