Geoffrey Arnold Beck, born June 24, 1944 in Wallington, Surrey, United Kingdom, is an English guitarist, inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009. His first appearance on a recording was the "Dracula's Daughter"/"Come Back Baby" single by Screaming Lord Sutch and the Savages in 1962, and from there he went on to other groups and session work, landing in the Yardbirds in 1965 for a short tenure before going solo. He has had a long and varied solo career, touching on both rock and jazz, and has made numerous guest appearances with other artists.

Harold Budd RIP – Harold Budd, one of pre-eminent American composers of avant-garde and minimalism, has died of complications from the coronavirus.
