Profile
Haruomi Hosono (細野晴臣), sometimes credited as Harry Hosono, is a Japanese musician who has played a prominent role since being a member of Apryl Fool, where he played bass. In the 70s, he was a member of Happy End and also started recording as a solo artist and guesting on recordings by other artists. His 1977 album Paraiso brought together the members of what would become Yellow Magic Orchestra (Hosono, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Yukihiro Takahashi). In addition to intermittent activity with YMO, he has produced soundtracks and numerous other artists.
