Exposé print issues (1993-2011)
The Fourth World Quartet was formed by the three Miller brothers, Benjamin (guitar, alto sax), Laurence (bass clarinet), and Roger (piano, percussion), joined by art school friend Jack Waterstone (alto sax). With all four contributing compositions and arrangements, they tackled material that bridged modern classical and improvisational jazz. Roger Miller went on to form Mission of Burma and Birdsongs of the Mesozoic, and after he left the Quartet, Denman Maroney took over the piano stool. Recordings by Benjamin and Laurence have been released as Miller Twins.
