Bio / info
Flash was an English progressive rock group, formed by former Yes guitarist Peter Banks and vocalist Colin Carter in August 1971. Bassist Ray Bennett and drummer Mike Hough completed the line-up. The band released three studio albums and toured extensively before internal tensions led to their 1973 breakup. Banks went on to record as a solo artist, and several Flash reunions were planned during the 80s and 90s but never materialized. A new version of the band, featuring Carter and Bennett, appeared in 2010 and recorded an album of new material.
