In spite of its Chinese name (Mandarin for "finally"), Zhongyu is an American band. It is a project of multi-instrumentalist Jon Davis, whose compositions are inspired by classic progressive rock, RIO, and traditional music from around the world, particularly East Asia. The band features members of Moraine and other Seattle jazz-rock bands. Three members of the band also perform as Super Z Attack Team.
