Moraine
Country
United States
Profile
Moraine began as a "chamber rock" ensemble with guitarist Dennis Rea and cellist Ruth Davidson. Before long, the duo expanded to a five-piece with the addition of bass, drums, and violin. A number of personnel changes have led to the current lineup of Rea (guitars), Alicia DeJoie (violin), James DeJoie (woodwinds), Kevin Millard (bass-like instruments), and Brian Oppel (drums, also in Trimtab). An appearance at NEARfest resulted in their second album, Metamorphic Rock.
