Profile
David Alan "Ted" Turner (born 2 August 1950) is an English guitarist and vocalist best known for his work with Wishbone Ash. In addition to being one half of the band's signature "twin lead guitar" sound (with Andy Powell), he also contributed lap steel and vocals. Turner (no relation to bandmate Martin Turner) was with the group from its founding in 1969 through 1974's Wishbone Four. After leaving the band, he worked as a guest for Stewart Copeland, Badfinger, and others. He rejoined Wishbone Ash from 1987 to 1994, and has also worked with Martin Turner's band.
