Exposé print issues (1993-2011)
Savage Republic was formed in the early 80s by Bruce Licher (guitar) and Mark Erskine (drums/percussion), who were UCLA students at the time, originally under the name Africa Corps. Philip Drucker (aka Jackson Del Rey), Robert Loveless, and Jeff Long had joined by the release of their first album in 1982, by which time they had settled on the name Savage Republic. Since then, the group has split up and reformed numerous times, with no single person involved in all phases of the band.
