Hamid Drake (born August 3, 1955) is an American jazz drummer and percussionist. Based in the Chicago area, he has worked with many of the most prominent players in jazz, especially of the free varieties. Along with Foday Musa Suso and Adam Rudolph, he was a member of Mandingo Griot Society.
