Aperus is the one-man musical project of Brian McWilliams, an ambient musician and photographer who lives in the high desert of New Mexico. Also a member of Remanence with collaborator John Phipps, he runs Geophonic Records, a label dedicated to the reprocessing of source material from the natural world and presenting it as audiovisual works in the ambient genre.
