Debut of new Pili Coït song "Mzi"

Skin Graft Records has a new release from Pili Coït, a split 7" single and CD with math-rock kings Yowie. The limited edition 7" will feature one song from each band, while the CD and download versions will contain two more tracks from each. The street date for this release is 16 May.

During their touring after releasing their debut album, Pili Coït went from being a duo to incorporating other musicians, and their half of this release features the extended lineup, with bass clarinet, violin, viola, tuba, and kaval (a traditional flute from the Balkans), a group they call Les Exocrines.

We're happy to premier one of the CD / download tracks from Pili Coït, a great tune called "Mzi."

After starting out with rather minimalist intentions — creating a lot of sound with just two people — Pili Coït has gone somewhat maximalist with the addition of Les Exocrines. The fuller sound retains the energy and intensity that the duo was known for, however, just expanding the palette of tones available.
