Trace was a Dutch classical "symphonic" progressive rock band formed by keyboardist Rick van der Linden (from Ekseption), with Pierre van der Linden (from Focus) on drums and Jaap van Eik on bass and guitar. Their debut LP was all instrumental with a mixture of Bach and Grieg classical themes and original compositions. Further albums saw changes of personnel backing Rick van der Linden.

You Can Be Part of an Ambient Electronic Project – The Gesture of History is a new electronic project put together by Sam Rosenthal of Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Steve Roach, and violist Sam Shadow.
