Tenko (天鼓) is best known in Japan as co-founder of the band Mizutama Shobodan (Polka-Dot Fire Brigade). They made two LPs: The Virgin Prayers - Da! Da! Da! (1981) and Sky Full of Red Petals (1985). Parallel to this work was The Honeymoons, an improvising voice duo. Her solo career started in 1987 with Slope and she has since worked with a variety of avant-garde luminaries from around the world. Dragon Blue is one of many projects.
