Initially an instrumental offshoot of The Allman Brothers Band, this jazz-rock / funk / fusion outfit was led by keyboardist Chuck Leavell. Over time, the membership expanded from a four piece to seven or more + guests, and vocals. They released five studio albums between 1977 and 1981.

Simeon Coxe RIP – Simeon Coxe, best known for his experimental electronics in the band Silver Apples, has died at the age of 82.
