PureH is a group formed in 1993, when their first tape Inertia appeared. Before that they were gathering experiences as musicians in several bands. The group initially consisted of a producer and video artist. After performing at the festival Break21, the group was joined by a drummer, guitarist and bass player. Founder Simon Šerc, a Slovenian sound and video artist, recording engineer, producer, and creator of projects such as Cadlag and Biodukt, as well as the head of the PharmaFabrik label. Šerc’s work spans music production, audiovisual installations and sound art, frequently exploring themes of technology, dystopia, nature, and human perception, reflected in both sound and visual aesthetics.
