Bio / info
Napoli Centrale were formed by the nucleus of The Showmen after the band's split, when James Senese (saxophone, vocals) and Franco del Prete (drums), along with American keyboardist Mark Harris and English bass player Tony Walmsley veered toward a personal blend of jazz-rock and popular music leaving any traces of prog behind them. Harris and Walmsey departed after the first album, to be replaced by a succession of other players. Senese was often billed as the leader for releases as James Senese and Napoli Centrale.
