Kekal is a progressive metal band founded in 1995 in Jakarta, Indonesia. After many successful albums and tours, in 2009 the band shed itself of all human members, with former members and other musicians voluntarily contributing together in collaboration to make new albums since that time. Former member Jeff Arwadi continues handling production, engineering, mixing, and mastering.
