La Coscienza di Zeno (CDZ) is a progressive band from Genoa that began in October 2007. As of 2013, the group is a six-piece featuring Gabriele "Estunno" Guidi Colombi on bass (Trama, Narrow Pass, Armalite, Il Tempio delle Clessidre, Hidebehind), Andrea Orlando on drums (Finisterre, Malombra, Real Dream), vocalist Alessio Calandriello (Narrow Pass, Hidebehind, Klepsydra, Lucid Dream), Stefano Agnini on keyboards and lyrics, Davide Serpico on acoustic and electric guitars, and Luca Scherani on synth, Mellotron, and bouzouki.
