Franco Ambrosetti (born 10 December 1941 in Lugano, Switzerland) is a jazz trumpet player and composer. He has classical piano training and is a self-taught trumpeter. His recorded career began in the mid 60s, and he has worked with many well-known players, including Kenny Clarke, Dexter Gordon, Phil Woods, Cannonball Adderley, Joe Henderson, Michael Brecker, and Mike Stern.
