Bio / info

A.F.T. was a British band that developed out of a blues group called Glyder. After Glyder's vocalist left, the other members carried on as an instrumental unit, eventually taking the initials A.F.T. as their name. Trevor Darks (bass), Paul MacDonnell (guitar), Robert Cross (guitar), and Dave Ball (drums) recorded one album and played many shows throughout 1976 and 1977, but facing the public's increasing disinterest in complex music, disbanded without producing another album. Darks went on to play with Mother Gong and Nik Turner. As of 2026, Ball is the only member still living.
