2nd Vision was a short-lived group formed by John Etheridge (guitar) and Ric Sanders (violin), both of whom were Soft Machine alumni. They joined up with Dave Bristow (keyboards), Jonathan Davie (bass), and Mickey Barker (drums) to record a single album in 1980.
