Ah, kosmische music, the land of good and plenty, a label that had maybe one or two bad albums on it in its career, and is now lauded by people like Julian Cope and the Freeman brothers (Audion) so much that for me to start giving you the history would be incredibly redundant. Yes, there are a couple of very good German books around now that will give you the incredibly convoluted history of this group of musicians who ate LSD like food and spent incredible amounts of time recording so much incredible music that even their out-takes are classics. So go buy one, especially the Freeman book The Crack in the Cosmic Egg, as those guys are the experts and I, one of many, owe it to them for turning me on to some of the best music in my collection. This one is a classic, of course.
