Seattle band Alex's Hand is finalizing their new album, and they've apparently found themselves with more music recorded than will fit on a CD. Rather than releasing a double, sitting on it, or saving it for the next album, they've decided to give it away.

They've been tapped for the Seaprog festival in June, and have been getting press for their live shows. We've already reviewed their first CD here at Exposé. Simeon Coxe RIP – Simeon Coxe, best known for his experimental electronics in the band Silver Apples, has died at the age of 82. The band's 1968 debut album set the stage for both German electronic music and experimental punk music a decade later. Coxe died on September 8 from pulmonary fibrosis. » Read more
