Bio / info
Spirogyra was a British folk-rock band founded in Bolton, Lancashire in 1967 by Martin Cockerham and Mark Francis. The band also featured singer Barbara Gaskin, who went on to sing with Hatfield & the North and in a duo with Dave Stewart. The band recorded three studio albums, but split up in 1973. In 2009 Cockerham and Francis revived the band and have resumed activity.
