Pure Reason Revolution were a British rock group formed at the University of Westminster in 2003. The band was originally named The Sunset Sound, and featured Courtney brothers Jon (guitar, keyboards, bass, vocals) and Andrew (drums) with Chloë Alper (guitar, keyboards, bass, vocals). Personnel changes ensued, including at various times Greg Jong, Jim Dobson, Jamie Willcox (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Paul Glover (drums), Tom Leathes (vocals, guitar), and Bob Cooper (bass). The band released three studio albums and a number of EPs before splitting up in 2011. After an invitation to play a festival in 2018, the group reformed, and has remained active since with varying personnel.
