Marilyn Mazur (born January 18, 1955, died December 12, 2025) was a Danish percussionist, drummer, composer, vocalist, pianist, dancer, and bandleader. She was born in New York City and lived in Denmark from the age of six. She formed her first band in 1973, and played with many artists, including Miles Davis in the mid-80s (the only woman to ever participate in one of his bands), Jan Garbarek, Lindsay Cooper, Gil Evans, and Eberhard Weber. She died at the age of 70 after a long illness.
