Born April 8, 1944 in Preston, Lancashire. Legendary percussionist who played with some of the greatest British blues rock musicians. Replaced Ringo Starr as drummer for Rory Storm & The Hurricanes. His own band was the first British band to play at Woodstock. Retired from the music industry in the mid-1970's. Died November 26, 2011 in Fulwood, Preston Lancashire.
