Martin Gordon (born 1954, Ipswich, Suffolk) is an English musician who plays bass guitar, double bass, and piano. His first prominent job was with Sparks, after which he formed Jets and later Radio Stars. After the breakup of Radio Stars in 1979, he worked as a session bassist and producer, and in the 90s he started travelling the world and studying different kinds of music, especially gamelan. He started his solo career in 2003 with The Baboon in the Basement.
