Egg was an English band in the Canterbury Scene, formed in 1969 by Dave Stewart (organ), Mont Campbell (bass/vocals), and Clive Brooks (drums), who were all formerly in Uriel. Egg toured the UK extensively and recorded three highly acclaimed albums before breaking up in 1972.
