Darkroom is a UK-based duo, originally formed to provide a live film festival soundtrack on which their debut album Daylight was based. Michael Bearpark (guitars, pedals, loops, feedback) and Andrew Ostler (synthesizers, laptop, processing, woodwinds, reeds) have also included a number of collaborators in their music. Bearpark is also a member of No-Man and Samuel Smiles.

The creator of scores for more than 500 movies, some of his works have become the most recognizable sounds in the history of cinema. His soundtracks for Sergio Leone's Westerns made from 1964 to 1971, are iconic landmarks in film music, but he also composed for dramas, comedies, and other genres.
