Circuline is an American progressive rock band founded in 2014 when progressive rock tribute band Downing Grey members Andrew Colyer (keyboards, vocals), Bill Shannon (guitars, vocals), and Darin Brannon (drums, percussion) started writing original material. Lead vocalists Billy Spillane and Natalie Brown came on board, and Daniel Aggers (bass, vocals) was recruited to complete the lineup.

After studying with Karlheinz Stockhausen in the early 60s, he became fascinated with the possibilities of rock music, and was a co-founder of the pioneering group Can.
