Exposé print issues (1993-2011)
Camper Van Beethoven was a California band formed by students at the University of California at Santa Cruz. This university consists of several "colleges," each with a different style of living facility and academic focus. College V, which was later renamed Porter College, was known as the home to the more artistic "weird" misfit students; Camper Van Beethoven was named based on the initials "CVB" (College V B-dorm). Members of the group went on to form Monks of Doom and several other bands; Jonathan Segel has been active in psychedelic and space rock.
