Be Bop Deluxe (sometimes written Be-Bop Deluxe) was formed by Bill Nelson in 1972 and dabbled with genres that ranged from prog rock to proto punk and new wave. They recorded their last album in 1978, after which Nelson formed Red Noise and recorded a single album before devoting his energy to solo recording.
