Donald Smith "Don" Airey (born 21 June 1948 in Sunderland, England) is a keyboard player perhaps best known as a member of Deep Purple since Jon Lord retired in 2002. Prior to that, he worked in a number of other bands starting with Cozy Powell's Hammer in 1971.
