The Troggs (originally called the Troglodytes) is an English garage rock band formed in Andover, Hampshire in May 1964. They are best known for their classic single "Wild Thing." The group was originally founded by Reg Presley (lead vocals), Ronnie Bond (drums), Pete Staples (bass), and Chris Britton (guitar). The group has existed in some form ever since, with Britton being the only remaining original member.
