Bio / info

After leaving the Chicago band Brevity, Mark Breyer and David Winogrond moved to Los Angeles worked informally on Breyer's songs, eventually taking the name Skooshny (from the Russian word Скучный, or "Tedious"). Working with other musicians, primarily Bruce Wagner, they recorded off and on over the course of the 70s, but without the means to play live, never achieved a following. They released an EP and a single during their existence, but it was only much later that their tapes were resurrected for release.
