No Safety was an improvising group of the New York scene starting in the 80s. Personnel varied during the band's existence, and included Zeena Parkins (sampler, organ, accordion, voice, electric harp), Chris Cochrane (electric guitar, voice), Ann Rupel (electric bass, voice), Doug Seidel (electric guitar), Tim Spelios (drums), Pippin Barnett (drums, voice), David Shea (turntables), and Kato Hideki (guitar, voice).
