Monkey Diet is an Italian psych / prog band formed by Daniele Piccinini of Accordo dei Contrari (bass) and Gabriele Martelli of PropheXy (guitar), who wanted to play music of a more spontaneous and improvisational nature than their previous bands allowed. They are joined by Roberto Bernardi of Altare Thotemico (drums).
