Manfred Mann (born Manfred Sepse Lubowitz, 21 October 1940 in Johannesburg, Transvaal, Union of South Africa) is a South African-British keyboard player, guitarist, and vocalist best known as a founding member and namesake of the band Manfred Mann, Manfred Mann Chapter Three, and Manfred Mann's Earth Band.

Tomasz Stańko RIP – Tomasz Stańko, one of the greats of Eastern European jazz, has died at the age of 76. Stańko's career started in Krzysztof Komeda's quintet, where he contributed trumpet from 1963-1967, when he formed his own group.
