Oliver Lake (born September 14, 1942 in Marianna, Arkansas) is a jazz saxophonist, flutist, composer, poet, and visual artist. He is best known for playing the alto sax. His career started with the Black Artists Group in St. Louis in the 60s, and he went on to work with many of the greats of jazz in the 70s and beyond in addition to playing with artists outside jazz like Lou Reed and Björk.
